Company Invites SGS for CBAM Training

Recently, our company invited senior carbon experts from SGS to deliver a special training session on the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). Staff from foreign trade, quality, production and supply chain departments attended the training.

During the session, SGS specialists elaborated on the latest CBAM regulatory requirements, covered applicable product scopes, carbon emission accounting rules, MRV monitoring and reporting procedures, document preparation, verification risks and practical compliance solutions for enterprises. Real manufacturing export cases were shared to analyse carbon tariff-related costs and compliance risks. The experts also answered on-site questions regarding carbon data collection, supply chain carbon management and document retention.

This training helped participants clarify key compliance points across the full CBAM process and strengthened the team’s capabilities in carbon data management and export risk assessment. Going forward, the company will translate the training outcomes into practice, improve internal carbon emission statistics systems, standardise supply chain carbon information management, get well prepared for EU export compliance, and steadily enhance green foreign trade competitiveness to ensure stable and sustainable EU business operations.
